Flashlight

1. What is a Tactical Flashlight?

Our Tactical Flashlights are crafted from tough, durable, and lightweight aluminum; and are designed for professional use by law enforcement officers, military personnel, and security officers. Different from a run-of-the-mill torch, the ergonomics, user interface, and construction have all been designed around professional use in tactical situations. This includes powerful high modes to illuminate the operating environment and disrupt the vision of a potential attacker, tail switches for ease of use in high-stress situations and in conjunction with firearms, a strobe mode that can be used to disorient an assailant, and a robust metal casing that is both waterproof and shockproof.

2. Why is my flashlight not working?

If your flashlight doesn't seem to be working properly, we recommend starting by checking the tail cap to be sure it's properly tightened, and making sure the battery tube is clean and clear of any debris. We also recommend double checking that you either have a fresh battery installed (if disposable), or that your rechargeable battery is fully charged.

3. How to maintain my flashlight?

1)Wipe the flashlight off after use with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dirt or contaminants.
2)If the flashlight is contaminated with seawater or corrosive liquid, please wash it with clean water and blow it dry with a hair dryer.
3)To prevent battery drain and possible corrosion during long-term storage remove the battery and store in a cool, dry place.
4)Never use old and new batteries together, mix different brands of batteries, or mix Lithium and Alkaline batteries. Mixing of cells can result in dangerous battery leakage, damage, and sub-optimal device performance.
5)Do not put a working flashlight face down, this can burn the bulb or even start a fire.
6)If the tail cap sticks or doesn't rotate smoothly, apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the "O" ring.
7)Since lithium batteries self-discharge, it is recommended that they be recharged every 3 months even if you do not use your flashlight often.

4. Which way do the batteries go in a flashlight?

The negative side of your battery terminal will be flat, and that is the part that should go on the spring. The positive end of round-type batteries will have a little nub on the center of the battery. This side needs to go on the flat end of the battery terminal.

Baton

1. What are the main differences between the NEX quicker duty batons and the NEX walker portable batons? Why is the NEX quicker extendable mechanical duty baton series so much more expensive than the NEX walker extendable portable baton series?

The main differences between the NEX quicker duty batons and the NEX walker portable batons are their intended use and design features. Here is a breakdown of the key distinctions:

Intended Use: The NEX Quicker Duty Batons are designed for professional law enforcement users who operate in more severe work environments. They are built to withstand heavy-duty use and are suitable for situations that may require greater force, such as self-defense or restraining suspects. On the other hand, the NEX Walker Portable Batons are meant for daily use by individuals who require a lighter and more compact baton for general self-defense purposes.

Design Features: compare to the NEX walker portable batons, the NEX quicker duty batons feature a larger size, providing increased reach and impact potential. Quicker batons also have additional features like a rubber handle for shock absorption and an anti-slip grip to enhance user control.

2. Why are NEX Batons so shaky?

The focus of NEX is to provide the world with reliable, high-performance, and high-quality batons that incorporate their patented NEX Lock technology, ensuring durability and resistance to accidental drops of up to 2 meters.

NEX batons may exhibit a slight amount of shaking due to the design and construction features aimed at ensuring smooth opening and closing. The presence of a small gap between the joints is necessary to facilitate the smooth contraction and expansion of the baton. This design feature allows for flexibility while maintaining the structural integrity of the baton.

3. The surface of NEX batons will drop/scratch?

The surface treatment of NEX batons involves anodic hard oxidation, which enhances their resistance to wear, rust, and corrosion. This process provides a protective layer that helps maintain the overall durability of the baton. However, it's important to note that NEX batons are made of metal, and when they collide with hard objects, there is a possibility of slight scratching on the surface.

While the anodic hard oxidation treatment significantly improves the batons' resistance to scratches and maintains their performance, it cannot completely eliminate the potential for surface damage in all scenarios. However, it's worth mentioning that these minor scratches should not impact the overall functionality or effectiveness of the product.
