  • Basic Operation

    Lock Mode

Device ships inert in a locked mode (factory default).

Locate the Activation Lock button located near the charging port.

To Unlock: Remove the Pull Ring while holding the spoon in place. Insert one side of the Pull Ring into the Activation Lock hole and hold for 3s. Battery indicator flashes BLUE 5 times when it is live. Return the Pull Ring to its location in preparation for deployment.

To Lock: Repeat the instructions above. Battery indicator flashes RED 5 times when it is rendered inert. We recommend placing the spoon and pin back on the device to store or carry.

    Mode Selection

Selector can be rotated with the bent end of the Pull Ring or by using a small coin or multitool. If devices is live, maintain control of the Spoon while selecting duration and delay.

Rotate selector to choose between modes:

    • Mode 1: Single strobe/sound (4400 activations per charge)
    • Mode 2: Double strobe/sound (300 activations)
    • Mode 3: 9 times strobe/sound (80 activations)
    • Mode 4: 12s continuous strobe/sound (65 activations)

    Activation Delay

Rotate delay selector to set timing:

    • 0.5 seconds
    • 1 second
    • 1.5 seconds
    • 3 seconds

    To Deploy:

When live and desired duration and delay are set:

    1. Remove Pull Ring
    2. Release Spoon
    3. Throw in desired area
    4. Device activates after selected delay

    Returning Spoon and Pull Ring

Place the short end of the Spoon on the device and lay it down, aligning the holes to allow the pin to pass through.

Insert the straight end of the Pull Ring into the hole allowing the curved end to bend around the other side of the Spoon.

    Location Alert Feature

If Pull Ring and Spoon aren't returned to original position within 30 minutes, device emits visual and audible reminders every 10 seconds.
